  • This tour involves walking and hiking in Cappadocia, sometimes on  rocky or slippery terrain. You need comfortable sturdy shoes. Please kindly remember that you can skip the hikes if you don’t feel up to them. 
  • It gets hot in summer in Turkey. While it is normally a dry heat in Cappadocia, it can be humid in Istanbul, Troy, Gallipoli and hot & humid in Ephesus and Antalya.

Itinerary

DAY 1Istanbul to Ephesus Tour (Lunch included)

Pick up from your Istanbul hotel early morning and transfer to airport to take a flight to Izmir. Once you arrive to Istanbul Airport, please proceed to counter to do self check-in and take your boarding pass by presenting your passport. Upon the boarding pass information, please go to boarding gate and embark. After your arrival to Izmir Airport, pick up at the exit of first gate by driver. (Holding a sign with your name on it.) Transfer you to join Ephesus Tour. Visits to Artemis Temple which used to be one of the 7 wonders of ancient world, Ephesus Ancient City, Hadrian Temple, Celsus Library, Theater, Hamams and Old Harbor. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant. Last visit to House of Virgin Mary where Virgin Mary spent her last 5 years before she died and recognized as a pilgrimage place by Vatican. End of the tour transfer to hotel for free time and overnight stay.

DAY 2Free day in Kusadasi / Selcuk (Breakfast included)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you have free day to explore the town on your own. Overnight stay in Kusadasi / Selcuk.

DAY 3Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included)

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up by the tour guide around 07:30-08:00am and join to Pamukkale-Hierapolis Tour. Pamukkale has hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing and cooling water. It seems like cotton that’s why it is called ‘Cotton Castle- Pamukkale’ by Turks. Visit to Hierapolis Ancient City as a Unesco World Heritage Site and used to be visited by people to soothe their aliments during the retirement and also die there. As a refreshment, you can walk on terraces or swim in Cleopatra Swimming Pool. (Optional) Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant.
End of the tour, transfer hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 4From Pamukkale to Fethiye by bus (Breakfast included)

After having breakfast at the hotel, transfer to local bus station to take a bus to Fethiye. (aprx. 3 hours) Pick up from bus station by our agent. (Holding a sign with your name on it.) Transfer you to hotel in Fethiye for free time and overnight stay.

DAY 5Blue Cruise (Breakfast- Lunch- Dinner included)

Pick up from hotel and transfer to harbour around 09:00-09:30am. After having information about the journey, sailing to Samanlik Bay and making a break to swim and lunch. Visit to Butterfly Valley (if sea conditions available) where hosts 136 different kinds of butterflies and moths. Here, you have a chance to swim and walk around. Then, cruising to Oludeniz, (The Blue Lagoon) as one of the most beautiful seaside of Turkey. Last visit to St. Nicholas Island with Byzantine ruins. Having dinner on board. Free time and overnight stay.

 

DAY 6Blue Cruise (Breakfast- Lunch- Dinner included)

Departure to Firnaz Bay after sunrise, where we make a break to have breakfast and swimming. Then sailing to Kas, a small fishing village, and having lunch. Here you have a chance to see ancient Antiphellos, Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagi and the Roman theater. Near Kekova, we stop by to swim where you can see city ruins under water. Having dinner on board. Free time and overnight stay.

DAY 7Blue Cruise (Breakfast- Lunch- Dinner included)

Departure to Sunken City of Kekova as a Lycian-Roman archaeological site after having breakfast. Reacing to a traditional Turkish fishing village where you can visit an Ottoman Castle and ancient tombs; Simena. If you are interested, in Gokkaya Bay optional water sports are available. Having dinner on board. Free time and overnight stay.

DAY 8Blue Cruise (Breakfast included )

Passing by Pirates Cave after breakfast and cruising to Andriace Harbour. Time to disembark. Taking a bus to Demre and on the way we stop by for ATM and shopping if needed. Arrival to Antalya at 11:00 and transfer to hotel.

DAY 9Antalya Free Day (Breakfast included)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you have free time to explore Antalya Old City on your own. Your hotel is at the heart of the city so if you like you may stroll through the old streets and witness the beauty of wooden houses of Antalya. If you like you may also use this day as a beach day, easily reach to beach with cab or minibus. Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 10Antalya to Cappadocia via Konya by minivan or car (Breakfast included)

Pick up by the driver around 08:30- 08:45am and driving to Cappadocia via Konya. After 4 hours we reach to Konya where you have your lunch with famous etli ekmek and visit Konya Mevlana Museum, school of whirling dervishes. (Lunch is at your expense) Driving 3 hours more to reach Cappadocia. Arrival to Cappadocia, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 11Northern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included)

Hot Air Balloon tour is optional for this morning.

Pick up from hotel around 09:30-10:00am by the tour guide and join the Northern Cappadocia Tour. Visits to Goreme Panorama which has a stunning view of Goreme Village, land of fairy chimneys, Open Air Musesum which is the biggest monastery complex of the region. Then visiting Ortahisar, a typical village with its castle and cave food storage and Pasabag,(Fairy Chimney valley) which has mushroom like formed rocks and very interesting fairy chimney forms. We pass through the Imagination valley, Devrent, where you have the impression that animals are petrified in the rocks. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, walking along the Red River which is the longest river of Turkey and visiting small village very famous with its pottery workshops. Here, you will have a chance to see how the pottery is made and if you like you may also try. End of the day, going back to hotel bu passing through Love Valley which has incredible view. Arrival to hotel, free time and overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 12Southern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast- Lunch included)

Pick up from hotel around 09:30-10:00am by the tour guide and join the Southern Cappadocia Tour. Visiting Uchisar Castle which is the biggest fairy chimney used as a fortress by many civilizations. Hiking about 4 km in Red Valley and passing through Rose Valley by exploring rock churches which saved early Christians from Roman prosecution. Arriving to Cavusin village as an ancient settlement of the region and you may see its cave residences. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visiting Kaymaklı Underground City as the widest of the Cappadocia and it was used by refugees or people running away from catastrophes. Pigeon Valley offers a nice view over Uchisar Castle and it has pigeons still living in pigeon houses. The last visit to Three Beauties Valley which is famous with its vine factories and stunning view. End of the tour, transfer to airport to take a flight to Istanbul. Arrival to airport, pick up by agent and transfer to hotel. End of our service.
